GoProperties is planning to add a 14,400 square-foot commercial building and a driving school to its existing industrial site on US 17-92 in Davenport.

GoProperties is working with Polk County on plans to expand its existing industrial property on US 17-92 in Davenport. The company is proposing a 14,400 square-foot commercial frontage building along with a four-lane driving school, a 4,200 square-foot storage building, and a 400 square-foot trailer, plus associated parking.

A design review for the commercial frontage was closed in December 2025. A separate site plan for the full expansion, including the driving school, was filed in August 2025 and is currently suspended. The suspension is in effect under a time extension through September 18, 2027. The existing landscaping and stormwater systems on the site would need modification to accommodate the new development. No wetlands or FEMA floodplain impacts are proposed.

What happens next

The driving school expansion site plan remains suspended through September 18, 2027. GoProperties will need to reactivate the plan or proceed with other approvals to move forward.
