US 92 getting a new surface from Gary Road to Combee Road
FDOT is resurfacing a 2-mile stretch of US 92 (SR 546/SR 600) between Gary Road and Combee Road.
The Florida Department of Transportation is repaving US 92 across a stretch west of downtown Lakeland. The project runs from west of Gary Road to west of Combee Road and covers about two miles of roadway.
Hubbard Construction Company was awarded the contract for $1.93 million. Work began in December 2024, with an estimated completion date of August 8, 2025.
