FDOT is resurfacing a stretch of State Road 572 in Polk County.
The Florida Department of Transportation is resurfacing State Road 572 between Drane Field Road and Pipkin Creek Road. The work is being handled by Hubbard Construction Company under FDOT Work Program item 438013, with a contract value of approximately $4.8 million.
Work began in September 2024 and is scheduled to finish by May 2026. The project spans roughly 2.4 miles across five segments.
